Important context

Disclaimer.

EAIBSA operates as an independent technical inspection and assessment body. While findings, observations, and reports may identify non-conformances, safety concerns, or regulatory issues, EAIBSA does not exercise control over contractors, property owners, insurers, municipalities, or the Department of Employment and Labour.

Accordingly, the initiation of a complaint, inspection, or technical investigation does not constitute a guarantee that the matter will be resolved, rectified, enforced, prosecuted, or settled in favour of any party.

The purpose of the process is to provide an independent, technically substantiated assessment based on the information and conditions observed at the time of inspection. The resulting documentation may assist parties in achieving resolution, supporting corrective action, facilitating mediation, informing insurers or legal representatives, or serving as evidentiary material in legal or regulatory proceedings where applicable.
